Research Focus

The goal of my research is to understand the specific effects of signal molecules known to induce tumor angiogenesis. These molecules, including VEGF and IL-8, are actively secreted by tumor cells in 3D cell cultures. My work focuses on studying how these molecules specifically change the behavior and proliferation of cancer cells, stem cells, and endothelial cells. Understanding these effects is important for uncovering the underlying mechanisms of tumor angiogenesis.

I am currently a senior at Cornell University majoring in Chemical Engineering and minoring in Biomedical Engineering.
